Today's appointment

I went to Boise today for my baseline ultrasound. The appointment went well. The nurse practitioner was showing a new nurse practitioner the ropes, so I got to be a guinea pig of sorts. All was well. Each ovaries had about 13-16 small cysts. This is a classic symptom of PCOS as I described yesterday, and is very much to be expected for me. None of the cysts are too large to continue. I also began taking clomid pills today. Clomid is sort of the gateway drug in fertility treatments. I will take 100 mg of this per day today through Sunday. Monday I'll start in on injections. My next appointment is a week from today. We're off! I really pray this is the cycle that brings us our miracle!
