We don't know for sure when Lady was born. She was about 6 months old when we got her from the pound. From the letter left by her previous family who couldn't keep her when they moved, we can guess that she was born sometime mid to late November. So in that time frame, it's easiest for us to remember Thanksgiving. That is the day I choose to honor as our sweet pup's birthday. While I was making a dessert to take to my family's Thanksgiving celebration, I let Lady lick the bowl. I love her like a person. Happy birthday baby!
